Project 2: Review

Note: I am enjoying how much of the course is conducted here on the blog. So I've decided to post the course project descriptions here.

Project 2: Review
Write a review of a book or collection of articles from your own discipline or professional area on teaching with technology

In this project you will create:

1) a review of a book-length resource related to teaching (or learning) with technology aimed at: 1) an audience of your professional peers, and 2) an audience of expert non-specialists interested in educational technology.

Your review should offer both a useful summary of the material and critical/comparative commentary that serves to evaluate the resource.

What Should It Look Like?
You can pattern this paper after review essays that appear in scholarly journals in your field e.g. - College Composition and Communication or Kairos.

For example, see:

Your version for can be shorter – 1500 words would be a good target to aim for.

Requirements
We’ll have a review set up in Eli for drafts of your reviews.  Before we leave the in-residence week, we will discuss when you would like the review period to be.

Final versions of your reviews should be posted to the AL881 blog.
